Fishing Report for Week Ending May 15

Flats: Bonefish excellent to 9 lbs. on Mantis Shrimp #2, Pearl Gotcha #4, and lead-eye Bunny Gotcha #4. A new shipment of Deep Water Cay Carpet Crabs will arrive at the beginning of June. Stock up while you can.

Offshore: Grouper limits daily. Blackfin and Yellowfin tuna good under the birds with top waters and Rapala X-Rap 30s in Bonita pattern. Dolphin not here yet- late arrivals this year.

Exciting news- In order to take advantage of the prime night fishing here on the Cay, we are in the process of installing a permanent live bait well dockside for your fishing pleasure. Should be operational by the middle of June.

Long Time No Blog

Greetings! We are in full high-season swing down here, hence the silence on the blog. Fishing has been excellent and we hope everyone is having a fine old time (Steve Phillips, Doug Martin and Sam Gray's Alabama crew sure seemed to!)

We have some new members to welcome to the fold- Rhodes and Sarah Robinson from Jacksonville, FL. The member name card board is now full- we need another to start filling up, so tell your friends... Memberships won't be available forever.

Don't forget- The 3rd Annual Member Guest Tournament is scheduled for the weekend of October 26th. We have cottages and boats still available, but better get in soon- Kevin Kynerd is looking to defend his championship.
